Past Due Debts

If the debt is past due, a civil judgment may have been entered. This judgment will remain unsatisfied until the $5.00 satisfaction fee is paid. An unsatisfied debt could adversely affect your credit rating an, consequently, your ability to obtain a loan. Civil judgments can be searched at www.wicourts.gov.

Past due debts may be sent to the WI Dept. of Revenue for collections including tax intercept, wage garnishment and/or bank account levy. Once a debt has been sent to the WI Dept. of Revenue, payment arrangements should be made with them. The WI Dept. of Revenue can be reached at 608-264-0345.
